Irmo, SC (WLTX) --- Irmo has another chance to earn its first state championship in soccer since 2004.

The Yellow Jackets are in the finals after defeating J.L. Mann 2-1 Tuesday night in the 4A Upper State Championship.

Matt Sieverding and Conner Dunbaker provided the scoring for the Yellow Jackets who entered the game as the state's top-ranked team in Class AAAA and the number-one ranked team in the country according to ESPN Rise.

Irmo will face Wando Saturday night at Memorial Stadium for the title. This will mark the third straight year the Yellow Jackets have played for the title.
